Our Specialty...The Tavern Trek (THE BUS TRIP). Texas is the BIGGEST and has the BEST name in the party bus industry! Many reasons make for a good night. The VIP Cruiser features 4 dance poles, 4 AMPs, 5 pairs of 500W 6x9 speakers, 2x12" Subs, 2x15" Subs and 1x21" Sub, facing seats all through the bus, mega dance floor (the whole bus is a dance floor), the most amazing sounds on any party bus in Christchurch and is automatic which means you dont even get to feel the gear changes, so super smooth! This is simply, THE MOST AMAZING PARTY BUS IN CHRISTCHURCH! NOTHING COMES CLOSE! Liquor and Liquor Licence! The Christchurch City Council has stopped giving out liquor licenses to ALL party bus operators for the "tavern trek" type of tours since April 2011. However...we at Texas have managed to work in with the council and get some licenses approved for specific trips. We are at the moment able to acquire liquor licenses for the likes of hens day trips, specific out of town trips, and some transfers, so all is not lost! The City Council requires a minimum of 20 working days to process any Special License application, and we are happy to help you with the application process. There is a cost involved to apply for this and is non refundable. You will pay directly to the CCC. More information is available directly from the Christcurch City Council Website! Soundz and Lightz! All of our buses have very decent audio system onboard. Almost all of the buses will play MP3 CDs, have been installed with dual AMPs and dual subs (some even have dual 15" and dual 12" and 4xAMPs) and triple battery systems (dedicated battery for sound system). Essentially, a lot of R&D has been taking place over the past year and our buses are now amongst the (if not the most) oomphiest in town! A good number of our buses have been installed with some form of disco lights to bring in the atmosphere of a bar on wheels! R&D in this area at Texas workshop is quite strong. Costz The prices depend on the size of the bus you wish to hire and the day as well as what you wish to do on your party. Currently on Saturday nights a 40 seat bus costs $550, and 50 seater costs $575, Christchurch pickup at 7:30PM, visit 4 hotels/taverns/pubs and drop off around 11:30PM Thursday or Friday night (current specials, 40), Christchurch pickup at 7:30PM, visit 4 hotels/taverns/pubs, 40 seat bus and drop off around 11:30PM the price is $475. All of our party packages include * a Party Bus lol * a Professional Party Bus Driver (the fun loving types) * 4 of the hottest party bus taverns * diesel to make the wheels move lol * road user charges lol * a great atmosphere onboard * and if you are nice, we may even take some photos of you and your friends and put them on our Facebook Photos Page. Rulez Yes, definately we have a number of rules which all passengers onboard must follow. At the beginning of the trip your organiser will be given the rules to read out. It is our intention to give everyone onboard a safe and happy environment to enjoy their night. If you would like to know ahead of time, please send us an email @ info@texas.co.nz now. Do's include: drink, talk, dance, laugh, enjoy, give us your own music and even eat on the bus (we can even order pizzas for you). We do not tolerate: intoxication, unruley behaviour, smoking and drugs of any type.
